The Warriors is a gritty action-adventure beat ’em up developed by Rockstar Toronto and published by Rockstar Games, released for PlayStation 2 on October 17, 2005. Based on the культ classic 1979 film, the game takes players into the violent streets of 1970s New York City, where a gang is falsely accused of murder and must fight their way back home while being hunted by rival gangs and the police.
