Check power cable and outlet.
Try a different power cord (same as PS4 power cable).
Hold the power button for 7-10 seconds to boot into Safe Mode.
Unplug the console for a full minute, then retry.
Go to Settings > Network > Test Internet Connection.
Restart your router and console.
Move the PS5 closer to the router or use an Ethernet cable.
Update firmware if available.
Not connecting: Plug it in via USB and press the PS button.
Drift or unresponsive buttons: Try a controller reset (small button on the back).
Not charging: Use another USB port or cable.
Ensure the HDMI is securely connected and input source is correct.
Try a different HDMI cable or port.
Boot in Safe Mode and select Change Video Output.
Make sure the PS5 is in a well-ventilated area.
Clean vents with compressed air to remove dust.
Avoid enclosed spaces and placing the console on carpet or soft surfaces.
Make sure the disc is clean and inserted correctly.
Restart the console and try again.
If stuck, manually eject the disc (see Sony's guide).
Update both the PS5 system software and the game.
Clear game cache by restarting the console.
Rebuild Database in Safe Mode if issues persist.
Manage space via Settings > Storage.
Use a compatible external USB drive or M.2 SSD (if supported).
Delete unused games or media files.
Try updating the system software via USB drive.
Rebuild Database or Reset PS5 from Safe Mode.
If unresolved, system initialization may be needed.
If the HDMI port feels loose or shows no video on multiple screens, it may be physically damaged.
This often requires professional repair.
