In the African Pride Lands, young lion Simba is destined to be king, but after the death of his father Mufasa at the hands of his uncle Scar, he flees in guilt and exile. With the guidance of friends Timon and Pumbaa, Simba must return home to embrace his destiny, confront Scar, and restore balance to the kingdom.
