The Golden Compass for PlayStation 2 is an action-adventure game based on Philip Pullman’s acclaimed novel and the 2007 film adaptation. Players take on the role of Lyra Belacqua as she journeys through the frozen North to rescue her kidnapped friend. Alongside her armored bear companion, Iorek Byrnison, Lyra uses cleverness, stealth, and the mystical alethiometer (Golden Compass) to uncover secrets and solve puzzles.
