Tekken is a classic 3D fighting game developed and published by Namco for the PlayStation. Originally released in arcades in 1994, the PlayStation version was released in March 1995 in Japan and November 1995 in North America and Europe. Players choose from a roster of martial artists and fighters, each with their own unique fighting styles and special moves, and compete in one-on-one battles across a series of 3D arenas. The game features Arcade Mode, Versus Mode, and unlockable characters, including the iconic Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams, and Yoshimitsu. Tekken helped establish Namco's long-running fighting game franchise and became one of the defining fighting games of the original PlayStation.
