Street Fighter EX Plus α is a 3D fighting game developed by Arika and published by Capcom on July 17, 1997. An enhanced version of the original Street Fighter EX, the game brings the classic Street Fighter gameplay into 3D for the first time while maintaining the traditional six-button control system and combo mechanics. Featuring a mix of familiar characters like Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li, alongside new fighters such as Skullomania and Doctrine Dark, the game introduced the “Super Combo” system for powerful finishing moves. With its fast-paced battles, polygonal graphics, and signature Street Fighter depth, EX Plus α successfully bridged the series’ transition from 2D to 3D fighting.
