Resident Evil: Survivor is a first-person survival horror shooter developed and published by Capcom on March 30, 2000. A spin-off of the main Resident Evil series, the game places players in the role of an amnesiac protagonist named Ark Thompson, who must uncover his identity while escaping from the zombie-infested island of Sheena. Combining traditional Resident Evil storytelling with first-person gunplay, the game departs from the series’ usual third-person perspective, offering a more direct and arcade-like shooting experience. Despite mixed reviews, Resident Evil: Survivor is notable for being the first Resident Evil title to experiment with first-person gameplay.
