During spring break at Lake Victoria, a prehistoric school of piranhas is accidentally unleashed due to a minor earthquake. Tourists and locals alike become the target of these ravenous fish. A local sheriff, a marine biologist, and a few survivors must find a way to stop the deadly swarm before it devours everyone at the lake.
