NFS III: Hot Pursuit is the third installment in the Need for Speed franchise and is best known for introducing the “Hot Pursuit” mode, where players either race exotic cars or play as the cops chasing down speeders. It marked a shift toward more action-packed, arcade-style racing compared to its predecessors.
