Far Cry 6 is a first-person shooter, open-world action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. Released in October 2021, it's the sixth main entry in the Far Cry series.
Set on the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, heavily inspired by Cuba, the game plunges you into a nation ruled by the brutal dictator Antón Castillo (played by Giancarlo Esposito), who is grooming his son Diego to take over his regime.
You play as Dani Rojas (choose male or female), a reluctant guerrilla fighter swept into a revolution to free Yara from Castillo's grip. As Dani, you join the rebel group Libertad, navigating tropical jungles, war-torn villages, and the heavily fortified capital, Esperanza.
