Assassin’s Creed Origins is an action-adventure RPG developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The game serves as a reboot of the series, set in Ancient Egypt during the Ptolemaic period (circa 49–43 BC). It explores the origins of the Assassin Brotherhood through the story of Bayek, a Medjay (protector of Egypt), whose personal journey leads to the foundation of the Assassin order.
